Do you have different file formats to convert to or from?
We cover most.
+300 files formats supported;
1 Swiss Army Knife to handle them all.
1 central conversion software handles
all the formats your enterprise needs.
Enterprises work with a lot of digital documents, in multiple file formats. Converting between formats happens manually, which is inefficient, slow, inconsistent and expensive. On top of that, different tools are used to convert documents. DocShifter, an automated file format conversion platform, centralizes all your conversion needs; saves you time and reduces the need for different tools.
Reduce the number of different desktop solutions needed for conversion.
Most enterprises have multiple software tools to help them with file conversion. Often installed on individual desktops. On top of that, many companies end up purchasing and maintaining native applications to be able to deal with specific file formats. Thanks to its modern technology, DocShifter can handle all supported file formats without the need for the authoring applications (Adobe technology, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, etc.). This saves on the licensing costs and speeds up the conversion speed by up to 10x.

DocShifter can reduce cost in a number of ways:
- Faster performance = less servers needed = lower infrastructure costs = lower licensing costs (e.g. one customer reduced from 10 servers of their legacy tools to 3 DocShifter servers for the same amount of work).
- DocShifter does not require licenses for any Adobe technology, or the native applications used to create the content. No licenses are needed for Office or AutoCAD for example to be able to convert those file formats.
- Since DocShifter is not tied to any DMS, RIM or other platform, installation and ongoing maintenance is much simpler. This reduces internal costs to maintain the tool and any external service fees required.
- Upgrades and software support are included in the subscription fees.
Yes. DocShifter can be used to convert AutoCAD files (.DWG & .DXF). Moreover, with DocShifter, you do not need AutoCAD licenses on your conversion server to be able to convert AutoCAD files.
As you likely know, CAD files are not straightforward, since they use layers, zoom levels, etc. Outcome will be highly dependent on those parameters.
